THE HISTORY OF YXC STUDIO
YXC is short for "Yucaipa Cross Country." During Austin's sophomore year of high school while in his video production class, his teacher asked if anyone in the class would like to create a team video for the Yucaipa Cross Country team. While no one was interested, including previous classes, Austin stepped in. Not only was he a cross country runner himself, he was now officially the team videographer. During his high school days he did many videos for the XC team, including baseball and girls soccer. After high school he continued doing team videos for his almoner for fun until in the summer of 2017 he decided to make his hobby into a business while attending community college. He created the name "YXC Studio" after his first video for his high school XC team. His main focus in the business was team videos for sports until Ashley came on board in 2018. They slowly started doing city events, weddings, Quinceanera and more. In late 2019 they started getting into the photography business, but still focusing more on film. They're goal is to capture the perfect moment for their clients and always have fun!
